Plain-English ground rules.

VHPS Market is a private bulletin board run by Victory Heights Primary School (VHPS), Dubai. It exists so parents and staff at VHPS can list pre-loved items for sale, give-away items, and parent-run services to other families in the school community.

• The school provides this bulletin board only.
• The school does not handle payments.
• The school does not verify items, condition, or sellers.
• The school does not verify or endorse parent services.
• The school is not party to any transaction. Disputes, refunds, and item quality are between buyer and seller.
• The school may remove any listing or service at its discretion.

• Pre-loved school uniform, books, toys, sports gear, baby/toddler items, and similar family items in safe, working condition
• Parent-run services like tutoring, photography, fitness, parties, etc., where the parent has the appropriate qualifications and licences
• Free give-aways

• Food, medicine, alcohol, vapes, tobacco
• Pets or animals
• Weapons or anything that could harm a child
• Unsafe, untested, or unverified electrical items
• Counterfeit goods or stolen items
• Offensive, adult, or political content
• Services that put a child at risk, services without the legal licences they require, or medical/health/legal advice that requires a qualified practitioner
• Misleading prices, hidden fees, or upselling on contact
• Sharing other parents' or pupils' names, photos or class details without permission

• Be accurate. Don't misrepresent condition, age, brand, or what's included.
• Set fair prices. The smart-pricing hint on uniform listings is a guideline.
• Respond to messages from interested parents in reasonable time.
• If you can't meet a commitment, mark the listing sold or remove it.
• Meet on a campus when you can — in public, with another adult around.
• If anyone behaves inappropriately, report it to the school office.

• Inspect items before paying. The school does not verify condition.
• Pay only the agreed amount, in person or by your usual safe transfer method.
• Don't ask sellers to ship internationally or to handle anything unusual.
• Treat sellers respectfully — they're your fellow VHPS parents.

Every listing has a "Report" link. If something is off, use it. The school admin reviews reports and may edit or remove listings. The seller isn't notified that you reported them.

We don't require you to register. To post, you enter the school access code (issued to VHPS parents and staff only). The access code, your WhatsApp number, and your name on a listing all tie back to the school community — please act accordingly.

VHPS Market is provided "as is". The school, its staff, and its agents accept no liability for the quality, safety, condition, fitness for purpose, or legality of any listed item or service, nor for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from a transaction on this site.

We may update these terms. Material changes will be flagged on the homepage. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the new terms.
